Run a Diagnostic
1. From the Home screen tap the Arrow to Perform Health Check to run a vehicle health check diagnostic.
Note: To run a vehicle health check diagnostic, make sure you’re connected to the SPARQ AI device via bluetooth, have a stable internet connection, and ensure the vehicle’s ignition is on.
2. Wait while the health check runs and all vehicle systems are inspected.
3. Review your diagnostic results. If all inspections pass, you can scroll down to view the completed inspections or tap Run Diagnostics Again to start a new scan.
4. If issues are detected, they will appear on this screen. Tap an issue to view more details.
5. Tap an issue to expand the section and view detailed information, including severity and related system data.
6. Review the issue details to understand the problem and its potential impact. If you have questions, tap Ask SPARQ AI for more information. Once the issue has been resolved, you can Clear the code.
Clearing Codes
Clearing Codes
1. Tap the Arrow component next to Perform Health Check to run a diagnostic.
2. If issues are detected, they will appear on this screen. Tap an issue to view more details.
3. Once the issue has been fixed, tap the Clear button to clear the existing diagnostic trouble codes.
4. Tap Proceed to continue after acknowledging the requirements.
5. Wait while the codes are being cleared. Please ensure the vehicle remains parked, the ignition is on, the device stays connected, and the app remains open until the process is complete.
6. Tap Done to view the code-clearing results and confirm whether the codes were successfully cleared.
7. Once the codes have been successfully cleared, a Cleared tag will appear next to each resolved issue.
8. If a code shows as Not Fixed, it means the code could not be cleared.
There are two common reasons this may occur:
The underlying issue has not been resolved.
If the root cause is still present, the vehicle will continue to detect the problem and the code will reappear.
Manufacturer restrictions.
Some vehicle manufacturers limit or block the ability to clear certain diagnostic trouble codes using third-party devices or apps (like SPARQ AI).
