Bluetooth Connection Issues
Note: Use this guide if you experience Bluetooth connection issues while running a diagnostic or during vehicle onboarding.
1. If you are having trouble connecting or see the Connect SPARQ Diagnostic screen, confirm the device is securely plugged into the OBD II port of your vehicle, Bluetooth is enabled, Wi-Fi or cellular data is available, the vehicle is turned on, and the vehicle is compatible with SPARQ.
2. Swipe down to access the Control Center, then tap the Bluetooth icon to turn Bluetooth off.
3. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause to open the app switcher, then swipe up on the SPARQ app to close it.
4. Open the SPARQ app and tap the Arrow to Perform Health Check to run a vehicle health check diagnostic.
5. This screen confirms the Bluetooth connection has been reset. Turn Bluetooth back on, then tap Try Again.
6. Swipe down to access the Control Center, then tap the Bluetooth icon to turn Bluetooth on.
7. From here, you should be able to continue normally. If you’re still having trouble, please contact us at [email protected].
